morning mate,i have the cas 2,after programmimg i set all as u say above and left it on history all night,nothing.tried formating gives me error,i think iam destined not to have it :(

That can't be right.

Initially, I tried to just update with UW over Stealth, it would not work until I had formatted the cam with CAS3+. Before formatting, it gave the same 'Invalid CI module' message you are seeeing on all channels.

You need to concentrate on formatting the cam. Are you using latest CAS Studio 8.3a software?

Also, you should see Conax channels clear after a few seconds only.

Hi mate,when i put the cam in the pace it gives me all menus etc so iam assuming its programmed right,iam going to try and format it and see if it does it this time.thanks

I could get into the menus, but nothing would clear without reformatting first.

It threw me for a bit.

programming the file again will not format.Many others have done it with the cas2 why isnt it working for me errr.

I don't think you'll get it to work without a reformat.

Are you using CAS Studio 8.3a?

I think this is a CAS2 issue I've heard of before. Try this if you are getting 'Format Error'...

Select 'Format' from the 'CAM Disk functions' tab. You see the 'Format Error' message.
Then go to 'Cam File System' tab and click 'Connect'. CAM should then format, takes a few minutes.
Then update with UW. Remember to alter Config settings again.

You shouldn't need keys.bin at the moment, everything is AU. Some of them take a while...

If you watch Prem and see freezing and/or intermittant 'Invalid CI' messages, I would advise turning N2 AU off once the keys have updated, to prevent freezing on the Pace. Turn back on to update keys when necessary.

Digi takes quite a while to update keys, sometimes 5-10 minutes.

what a bag of crap this pace is,got 2.3 now was up till 1am trying to get it to work,gonna connect my old echostar 808 up and try and activate the cam,never had anything like it

2.3 Diablo does not work with the Pace.

I have also tried.

Haven't upgraded to v2.3, but old Diablo still works in Pace apart from the well do***ented problems.

Having said that, I've had enough of the Pace. I have now aquired a Topfield tf7700, and Diablo works perfectly in this... there are some things which I prefer on the Pace, but the Topfield seems rock solid with cams.
