I can't be far away from you (in the East Mids), I have no problem with the T1 beam on a 80cm. In good weather, you would get away with smaller.
Make sure the dish is lined up for the other Thor TPs, you won't see the HD ones on Antenna tuning because the SR is wrong.
There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to pull the HD TPs in.

doin me head in now :(.
Do you want me to post the exact settings I used for frequency scan?
I've just done a rescan of 11341V, and it's seeing the carrier okay.

when i do a search i get a msg saying
no information table (PAT)
yes please mate,thanks
It's seeing a signal from the transponder then, it just doesn't like it.
Can I ask what software version you have on the Pace? Some changes were made to scanning with the last update - you should be on v1.0.35. You can check sofware version number on menu option 1.2 'System'.
Anyway, this is how I search 11341V...
Go to menu option 2.1 Channel Search.
Set options as below...
Scanning mode - FREQUENCY
Satellite - THOR 0.8W
Frequency - 11341
Polarisation - VERTICAL
Symbol Rate - 25000 (changed from default of 24500)
Filter - ALL CHANNELS
Then hit 'OK' to start scan. Good Luck!
The weather is knocking my reception out at the minute on 80cm dish.
here i think my dish needs elevation adjusting mate, gonna try and get up there later today, will let you know how i get on,thanks again.
right off up the ladder now frec 11278 is up and down more on yellow than green so not good, elevation correction time.
I'm currently getting solid green here, about 75% on 11278V, that's with a 80cm so you should be aiming for better than that with a 110cm.
Hi mate getting 95% on 11278v still cant get the hd 1s wierd, thinking of doing a factory reset and starting all over again.
What software version do you have in the Pace?
same as you sparky
I have no idea why yours doesn't work. If yours is on v1.0.35, and you have 95% signal, there's no reason I can see why you can't scan the HD transponders using the settings above.
Perhaps a factory reset is worth a try?
thanks mate all in now,i will get there eventualy,3rd time programming the cam now keeps saying invalid ci module :(
You'll get used to seeing that error message.
Follow the instructions I posted earlier regarding cam insertion, and it should work.
if there not scaning in try a NIT scan and put the frequency in there
I reformat the cam, then load UW 1.06... no need to load a keys.bin, although all the keys have to AU. The only other thing you need to do is in Diablo Configuration menu, make sure
AUTO PMT, EMULATORS, N2 AU are all [ON]
EMULATORS PRIORITY is set to [1:EMU 2:CARDS]
SHOW MESS. is set to [Show Never].
I know someone else tried all sorts to get the cam to work in the Pace, and just couldn't get it to work... I honestly don't know why it doesn't seem to work in all Pace boxes. The way I explained is the only way I can get the cam to work reliably in the Pace - its working now, and I haven't had to touch it for days. It can be a bit of fiddling about to coax it to work... if it doesn't work first time, you have to repeat the process, sometimes several times.
I would add something else. On occasions, the cam will just not work no matter what I do - usually the Pace doesn't give the 'Invalid CI module' message at all in that case, it will either give no message or even 'No CI Module Inserted'. A power-off reboot usually fixes this problem.
Hope you can get it going after all this!
