    is it possible yet to compress movies ?

    is it possible yet to compress blu-ray movies on to a 25gb blu-ray rewritable disc?

    Get yourself over to doom9. You need Jamos' guide.

    I'm currently doing 720p MKV's onto dvd5 as AVCHD, playing a treat on my PS3. You'll get all your questions answered there.

    so it`s possible now to put a whole blu-ray rip onto a 4.7 dvd?
    I have a few blu-ray iso`s at 25GB, will i be able to convert and what is the quality like at 720p??

    sorry about the delay.

    Yes it is. do a google search "720p blu ray .mkv" - you'll see loads of blu ray rips down to 4.4gig.

    Quality obviuously isn't as good as 1080p but it's pretty damned good.
