Do Twin Tuner PVR need Twin Feed?

    Hi!

Just a quick question, do twin tuner pvr need twin feed to record a channel whilst watching another? Or will the twin tuner do the trick for you? I hope so, I don't want to buy a new Twin feed LNB. I'm thinking of buying the new pvr receiver for freesat, that's when they decide to launch!

Can I divide the lone feed/cable in two and collect both to one pvr receiver?

    Thanks in advance!

You will need two feeds m8.

You will probably be able to watch one and record another on the same transponder with one feed but that is all.

I had a kaon 1000 once you could record 6 channels at once but there were limitations it had twin tuners if I remember correctly

You will need two separate feeds - i.e. a twin lnb. Giving each tuner v & h polarisation. If using only a single you will only be able to watch or record channels on the same polarisation.
