patching

this is doing my head in.i can patch most stb no problem but this echolink el777 fta.has got me beet.every time i run the loader i get transfer failed can any one help i have followed the how to patch in the echolink section but still cant patch it.it was patched for me wen i bought it now ineed to do it myself thanks anybody johnny

How are you patching ?

I get a failed loading if running my laptop off battery power only, plug the main charger in and it loads ok !!!!! go figure that one, this is only patching the EL777 also.
Humax STB's patch fine on laptop battery power.

Try using a different loader, or use your current loader in Windows 98 compatibility mode. Right click on the loader, you'll find the compatibility tab in "properties".

I've uploaded the one I generally use here.
