9999 Not Working

Hi

I have a VN8000CIS out of the box and no smart card is showing in the menu. I have followed the advice and entered 9999 in the menu but still no joy! Can someone please advise what I am doing wrong?

you need to update the firmware first, out of the box does not contain firmware with the emu (9999) installed

Done this now with 2.03 now get Err.0!! and won't connect to my PC how do I clear this?
