1500 cant update ?? help please

Hi anyone still using the ctech 1500 ? tried to update firmware but cant get serial to connect ? checked port settings etc but no go, its on 158 at the moment , anyone any info please.. thanks

should work fine if you use the standard loaders for this model , and the correct patches

obviously you need to use a null modem cable and a suitable pc com port connection

Hi yes got the null cable , and tried with the laptop that i always use to update the ctech, also tried my main machine but no go ? sometimes it detects 158, but does nothing the next time it just says connect and switch on ?? . same setup updates my m8s ctech ok , but wont do mine.? oh well time for a change ...
