    What size dish?

Hi all, im currently using a standard size sky digital dish (same size like others) with a quad lnb. I want to replace it to pick up an additional satallite transponder (28.2e and something else) but as my dish is mounted at the front of the premises, Im looking at a 'not to big' dish and definitely not motorized. Could any1 recommend a reasonable size dish that wouldn't look out of place and would allow me to pick up an additional transponder to add with 28.2e?
Now; I don't know wether my dish is 40cm or 60cm BUT its not 80cm. I also cannot measure the dish I currently have as I live on a hill and would need a ladder to get up and im afraid of ladders . I currently live in the lancashire region.

    I hope all that made

All help would be much appreciated.

Fracarro PENTA 68cm with multi lnb works pretty well and the shape of them means they don't look as big as other dish's

Thanks all. @Echelon, just been reading up on that dish, just a quick question or advise needed; could you point me in the right direction (on this forum or other) as to what I would need (ie brands, equipment, sat finder etc) to receive 23e, 19e or 13e. I've already gathered that I could still make use of the quad lnb for 28.2e for the family.

    Thanks again

here is my original thread on using the zone 2 dish with an extended arm and a gilbertini lnb rack which comes with 4 lnb mounts

I believe the wavefrontier comes with 4 lnb mounts anyway, and I suppose you could use standard inverto ultra black lnb,s or use slimline alps if necessary

as for a sat finder, its already mentioned in the other thread here (as is a lot of the other info you need)

    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...ne-2-now-5-way

which I already pointed you at in the previous post

Sorry missed you previous post due to typing my post whilst you must have posted (1min seperation from mine and your post). Have already looked at that page and can only confirm that 5 lnb job you have done looks awsum and will *touchwood* be following in the same footsteps but 1 lnb at a time lol. Once again really appreciate the help for a newbie like myself.

no problem, except mine was a 4 way lnb job and FIL was the 5 way lnb job !

both needed the dish lnb arms extending which was why there was a recent query on the last page or two about it by tayta
