Whats this about Orbit leaving 8w on Sept 30th?
Are they moving, or will they only be available on 26e?
I haven't been able to find info anywhere.
If you havent been able to find info, where did you get your rumour from? Last year i heard orbit was leaving 26e, but that hasnt happened, so i dunno about them leaving 8w.

Supposedly only Arabic will stay after 30 Sep 2007. Could be rights owners forcing Orbit away. Some time ago the movie channels were removed from 8 West and now it seems the other non arabic will follow. I would imagine ESPN, now the owners of NASN, would not be interested in Orbit ESPN being available in most of Europe.
But I guess time will tell if it happens.

Fair enough. Like i said, NASN comes to premiere star in two weeks, theat should take care of most of our US sports needs, if available.
Does anyone have a link with details of this new premiere star package?

Thanks Bobby, i don't suppose anyone knows when they will start 'test' transmissions? (are they there already) Or will they all suddenly appear like magic on the 1st september?
From what i've heard they will use 11.876 H 27500 3/4 for the new Premiere Star channels but NASN could stay on 12.662 H 22000 5/6 and be simulcrypted (CW for arena, Seca2 for Can*****, and Nagra/BC for Premiere).
Yes don't think they'll put an extra NASN up just for Star.

i heard the same. So far they're entitles service 1-10 and are scrambled.
The keys are now out. Just trying to figure out where to put them in my dragon CAM at the moment!
