Help needed with different emus

Hi can anyone answer the following...

1. why so many different emus?
2. what is the difference between them?
3. If you are using UR (as opposed to Juliet) is there a specific technique to opening the Premier PPV channels? one guide I saw says...
   "...select Erotik, Premier Direkt or Premier Sport.
   Press Green. For Premier Direkt you will see a list of channels and the time the film started (In central European Time). They appear in this list a few minutes before the start time"
   When I press the green button with UR I get the 'Technomate Panel' and I'm pretty sure that this isn't the right place to be.
4. Finally any guidance on how to open Multivision? I just can't do it!

1) different development teams I would think , and its following the dreambox teams , although some cams are better at some things than others

2) some have specific uses but all are vying for top spot

3) depends which image you use as to which colour button you press

I have covered this in the stickies so try reading them

4) tps.multi is opened on one of the au channels like espn classic , france 4 , m6 music channels etc ( all same transponder ) using mgcamd 1.23 or 1.24

I did as much reading as possible before posting. I couldn't find anything that covered the problem I have. I pressed all the coloured buttons but none seemed to work. Is there a specific thread I need to read?

Regarding TPS, how long do I need to keep it tuned in to one of the channels you specify?

its green in juliet 006 when on a portal , and only on a portal , probably different like yellow etc if using UR images

I know its there because I wrote it

ps:- seems to be the red button in ur006


tps can vary but usually within a minute or two but only if using a tps compatible emu

mgcamd v1.23 and v1.24 are premiere and tps compatible , as well as d+ and cabo

Sorry I'm showing my ignorance now. Red button does nothing in UR. I'm guessing that, like Juliet, it only works when I'm on a portal.
Problem is, I have no idea what a portal is
Could you please explain?

there are 3 portals , sport , direkt and erotik goto one of those channels and then try your red button

the premiere channel details are in the nagra forum in the stickies there

yes it only works on the 3 portals

I found a 'Premier Sport Portal', went to it, and lo and behold the red nutton suddenly brought up a further menu I'd never seen before.
I can't find a Portal for Erotik. Maybe I need to update my channel list!
Thanks for the help though - it seems to work.
Now if only it would do Multivision....

Its just erotik, not premier erotik.

Still no good - I must be thick or something.
Under 'Providers' I can see Premiere, and when I select it I see a number of channels including...

• EROTIK - AB 18!
• Erotic 2
• Erotik 1

The only channel in the list with the word 'portal' is
PREMIERE SPORT PORTAL.

I am guessing I need a new channel list. Either that or can someone please let me know what I have to do, to unscramble these channels?

Some success. Switched to that channel and the red button brought up a list of channels. None of them work though....
I've spent so long on this box this weekend so I'll give up for now and have a play in a few days. Thanks for all your help!!

if the premiere channels open then the ppv ones will open from the portals

if you cannot sort out your own channels lists then do as I did and use the captains list

Select PWDirect

Click on PREMIERE DIREKT thats the portal (press red button)

use mgcamd 1.23 or 1.24 load latest satankey bundle delete all tps files from var/keys hey presto it should clear
worked for me using juliet06
