16e Nowhere to be seen Why?

    Hello all.
    I cannot get 16e on my VN8000CIS
My signal on 19e is near signal & quality is 95%
    But 16e = NOTHING.. NOT A SNIFF.

    Has the satalite moved?
    Do I need new settings?
Does the VN need reprogramming or have i not uploded something?

I am sure I was born Blonde

What transponder are you looking for? is your dish aligned right? pick one of the strongest transponders and try moving the dish left or right with the motor

I disagree. There have been a number of issues with the VN since Xmas, but I have personally found the VN a very sensitive receiver (and I have quite a collection of receivers to compare with )

....or try the TVR transponder, as it has a number of FTA channels:-

    11471 V
    MPEG-2 29950 3/4

Most of the transponders on 16E have changed settings in the past couple of years, so for a lot of receivers, most (if not all) transponders defaulting on 16E are incorrect, therefore will give no lock. A manual entry of the TP settings may be required.
