    Vision-Net Vs Innovative

I am thinking of getting a Vision-Net 8000S to run along side my Technomate 1500, as the Innovative is causing problems with not connecting to server and freezing, can someone tell me how good the Vision-Net is and also what packages are open currently on the Vision-Net?

    Thanks

The servers are up and down at the moment and some channels are not working as it was but it is getting a little better. Seen at the weekend the servers seems to go down. But remember they are free servers, And if you was going to get one go for the CIS as you can use cams and if you want premere and have the servers at the same time you will need a cam (Dragon) until new SW come out that sorts it. Hope this helps a bit.

SW1.70 Premere might get servers have not tested.
    SW2.02 Servers no Premere.

We have also had problems on the Visionnet recently. When it is working, at the moment there are C/S channels from N0va, ART, HRT, and some C+ Nordic, plus TPS Foot. In the Middle East, they can get Showtime and Orbit as well.

Prem, D+, ORF, and SRG are working on EMU.

Hi m8, as you know I have an innovative I rate mine 10 times better than my Vn8000 although I have had minor problems there arent the server dropouts that the Visionet suffers from. I did an ethernet upgrade on my innovative last night it is back to its lightning fast self........... Regards N.

My Innovative was sent back as it lost connection and never regained it, and did not want to reboot after doing an ethernet upgrade. I noticed on the Visionnet last night that the picture was crap via the composite video out puts but okay via a scart, problem is I have run out of scart sockets! so need to get a scart switcher.

Hi m8, Red button Green button 0 Button gives you a menu scroll down to ethernet upgrade press ok and it will count down twice . if it gives you a fail on the front panel just keep pressing ok. Regards N.

Not heard of the innovative receiver beofre, is it similar to the vision net in that it has servers all ready to go, rather than having to find a CS group?

Well I am now in the second day with access to server 21FF on my Visionnet. ART Sports, S-View, some TP$, and some C+FR are working via C/S, as well as a number of packages via EMU.
