CI+MC product info Please
I shall be grateful for some help and feedback.
I'm looking for an other receiver, preferably with blind-scan ability amongst other things. Phoenix Apollo looks close to my requirements but their WEB site describes the CI+MC model as having 'Automatic Scan'. Is this similar to blind-scan? Any other info about this model would also be useful.
My first ****ogue receiver was a Manhattan and since Manhattan receivers now have blind-scan, is there any company (Eurosat) connection between Manhattan and Phoenix?
Thanks in advance.

There is no "Blind Can" at present, but one has been promised in a future software upgrade.
I have that model and today, 27th Jan, I have 3 major Networks "Open", plus many smaller packages.
No complaints.

Thanks Dark Cloud, who promised Blind-scan software in future? What is the RGB/S-Video picture like?

"Blind Scan" was promised in the "Wotsat" test April 2006.
I can't comment on the s-video as I only have a Pace S*y box, a Digiquest P2000 and the Apollo.
They are all connected via Scarts and, I, and even my Wife, think the Phoenix has a superior picture via a 42" Samsung.

Thanks again - April 2006 is a long time ago.

Yip, I had hoped for blind search by now. If "Spammy" pops back on this board for a quick check - he is a Mod on another board - he may shed some light as I think he is well connected with the Boffins at Eurosat.
