Motor stops and starts with Humax 5400

Chaps,

My motor is causing a few problems.

Each time u want to move to another satellite ie from 1West to 13 east, u require to press a channel on 13 east (intially) then a channel on 1 West, then choose the channel on 13 east again, then the motor will move.

I have reset the motor, its a TM2100

Its a bit frustrating, that u can to keep going and forth in order for the motor to move.

My thoughts could be that the RF cable may require to be replaced from the dish to the Humax box.

but before l do that, is there any settings/things that l can check before making changing the RF cable

I have loaded the latest Pet Setttings and the box is patched with the latest firmware

can u borrow another receiver to see if its your box or not?

No-one has a decent receiver, that l know of

I think it could be the brackets on the dish, could be slightly worn out, so the dish is slipping
