    Hi there,
Just had to get the unlock code from Orange(£20)as i terminated my contract with them for my Nokia N70 and had it debranded at last and got rid of that crap Orange software on it,the only way to unlock BB5 phones is through the service provider NO other way works despite what anyone says at the moment,I have looked on various phone forums on the net with people saying they can unlock them and the admins of the forums asking the poster to prove it and unlock 1 admin's BB5 phone for free and none of them could prove it! Still at least i was not with 3 as they charge a ridiculous sum to provide the unlock code,I have looked at some phone flashing/unlocking equipment etc on the net like Superclip 3/ JAF box for Nokias to debrand phones etc,but none will unlock any of the BB5 phones at the moment.
    regards nibber

There are codes available for certain networks. But they certainly are not cheap at all,,, around 45 UK pounds.

i agree with you termy. there are codes for certain networks but they are too expensive. but there are some services who provide codes at cheap rates or even for free. but they are not trust worthy. on such cases its better to buy codes at any rates is in it?
on one such situation only i bought codes for my phone from this site. _http://www.wickedunlock.com/
