    dish size for hellas sat

    Hi guys
    trying to pick up hellas sat with a 1.2 metre dish in east lancashire , is my dish too small?? , any help very welcome!

    There are four beams off Hellas Sat 39E. Two which you should get, two you won't.

    The two you should get are in a footprint showing 52db, so a dish half the size should work. Don't forget that it will be fairly low in the sky, so make sure there are no obstructions.

    I get this loud and clear with 85cm in Derby. Probably suffering from obstructions, as you should get it with your dish size.

    Hi mate would you mind giving me a strong freqs to work on please,ive had 4 or 5 attempts and i think iam trying to tune this sat in with the wrong freqs,cheers

    12.524V on the f1 beam seems ok sr 30000

    what type of motor are you using if disequ usals then the motor should find the sat for you provided everything set up properly if like me you're using 36V motor go to ******* and track slowly west untill you find helas or count the pulses

    manualy for me mate,not using usals,so far i have got 30w/24.5w/15w/12.5w/8w/7w only ver/5w/1w/5e/7e/10e/13e/16e/19e/23e/26e and 28e so hopefully 39e will be next.

    Have used a Sky Zone One 43cm Dish for 12524V it works fine

    Picked the sat up about 70 channels most crypted and breaking up,thanks for all your help chaps.

    36E is there as well 42E ******* and the list goes on I struggle after 68E some south african channels available there should be no picture break up on 39E on the f1 beam

    im in preston and can pick the sat up strong on a 1.1m triax.
