    dvbs2x 16apsk

noticed there has been quite a few UHD champions League feeds on 7.0e using dvbs2x with 16apsk modulation. I thought these were exclusively using novelsat modulation, guess not. Has anyone checked them out and if so are they using Biss, Biss v2 or tandberg encrption?

Tried briefly yesterday, on one of the feeds on my VU+ uno 4k se. Obvs no picture as they are 4:2:2, but are biss1. Tried streaming it to my pc using vlc, but must have been too much for my networks bandwidth to cope with.
I suspect NS4 is being taken up with feed relays for the war in Ukraine. As theses feeds are few and far inbetween, they've been relegated back to DVBs for now.

i think i'll struggle with the 16apsk signal strength requirements and the fact ive lost 7/10 and 13e due to conifers :(

Had to bend the main 1 out the way using rope, which snapped late last year

Ultimo4K, Pulse 4K and SF8008 all report 0% signal on both transponders.

what dish size and how much signal margin? is the comms mixed in with the stadium audio or seperate? if seperate you can use ffmpeg to pipe the video untouched and merge the audio.

1.5m, was very marginal here tbh. Didn't lose signal, but was the odd few seconds of choppiness. The audio had stadium sound, albeit a tad quieter than you'd expect.... and was on the right channel only, so mono.
Was still a way better expierence than the pathetic BT Sport 'HD' that Sly offer up though.
