how to make an ipk file .

Hi i am trying to convert 2.32 cam into an ipk file so I can down load it to my vu +duo 2 .Can not see the file when I use the ipk up load in the vu up loader thanks.

You will need a script, such as this:

You also need the ar binary file for your device(stb), and folder containing all the files & Control scripts that your ipk will consist of - these all need chmodded to the correct value.

Once done you telnet into your STB and issue a command such as this:

cd /media/hdd/ipkg-tools/
ipkg-build /media/hdd/ipkg-tools/folderwithyourfiles/

Probably that will require some reading about on your part - google it, all the info is available by simply searching!
