    online **** regulations

Just reading today on the news about the new online **** regulations going to start in July of this year and wondered what you guys have to say about it . Whats the UK coming to ? talk about a nanny state. Not sure how I'll verify my age if I access such content ......as if I would at my age [61] :-)

Presumably there will be ways around this? VPN etc but in some ways this is happening already, BT internet for instance uses parental controls which I think are on by default for new customers.
Even with parental controls switched off websites are still censored (ie not available) if you do not use BT DNS servers. I use smart dns proxy to overcome geo-blocking so this stops me from accessing sites such as xhamster. I am all for protecting children but how dare they tell old codgers like me what I am able to see.

I thought those channels were "For Educational purpose's only" I am a mature student, they are taking away my human rights
