June Whitfield R.I.P.
Very sad news that legendary comedy actress Dame June Whitfield has died, aged 93.
I remember her on Take it From Here on the radio in the 50's when she was so memorable as 'Eth' in the Glums sketches with Dick Bentley - who was 'her' Ron!
Obviously she was also in numerous other parts over the years, from Terry & June, Absolutely Fabulous, 4 Carry On films, etc etc and latterly The Last of the Summer Wine.
R.I.P. yet another of the legendary greats from the Entertainment business.
