looking to buy a hitech 9200

Hi been looking at this box and it's in stock. Just a little concerned that it is just an IP box, my internet can be a bit flakey at times. The sponsor has it listed as no **cam supplied.
Has anyone bought one recently. How does it compare to the Spider 6000?
    Cheers for any advice.

Hi In my opinion its always best to go for a box with satellite and IP functions..IPTV is good but will never beat satellite channels....i personally not interested in any box which has only IP functions...Cannot comment on the Hitech boxes as i never had one..The Spiderbox 6000 is still a good box with IPTV etc. i also use a Medialink box with HEVC software which i find to be very good .uses satellites and IP apps...Regards

    Hello gadstamut ,

I just checked in the sponsors listing ...

HitechBox HB9200 HD Satellite DVB-S/DVB-S2 + OTT IPTV Stalker MAG Set-Top Box

so looks like it has satellite function & iptv function ..

I agree with previous post..... don't see any advantage to purchase a set top box without a

satellite tuner . Hitech HB9200 is a good buy in my humble opinion & also good support in this

    Forum .

    Cheers , port06

The Spider 6000 was a great box, the Hitech box is a jekll and hyde box, good for IPTV and streaming but fleykey for Satellite, for me it kept crashing and wasting a lot of time, I now use both separately and both behave ok.

I have one, I have posted in another thread that I updated mine a couple of weeks ago and now
I am having lots of problems trying to open IP (UK Channels).
I have used it in Spain for Sat and does work using my IK* on 13e, 19e & 30w.

I would deffo be going for a VU box , you can use the iptv4e2 app on it for streaming or downloading files, plus they all work fine for satellite

if you dont want the 4k type of boxes, the VU solo2 is a great box, with internal hdd and an external micro usb stick added
