    What's this song called?

If you jump to 4 minutes 55, they start playing some song:

    Code:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=294&v=naVPICuZL0Y
I can't remember the name of it, my lass thinks it's 'Putting on the Ritz' by Fred Astaire, but I think she's wrong and it doesn't sound like that.

    Cheers.

That's not Jazz dude, it's swing music - jazz is totally different (and excruciating to listen to :-)).

LOL, I know that jazz came first roundabout the 1920's era and then Swing came about the 30's (derived from Jazz), but to me they sound totally different. Swing seems more complex and has better rhythms and is much more dance friendly...but I suppose everyone hears things differently.

I despise heavy metal music - all that screaming and people sounding like they are possessed by demons and stuff - that grates my sh*t, but some people love it - go figure???

Anyway, sorted now - that was bugging me all day trying to get the name of that song :-), now I can sleep soundly tonight!

    @saintomer1866
I love the music in this song (even though it's German), but the actual music itself:

What would you class that as?

Interesting result, as I too thought it was Putting on the Ritz - even Shazam couldn't decipher it either! lol!!
Suppose 42nd Street is from same era or Swing as has been said - used to get back to back old mono films on tv containing all this, but rarely nowadays it seems!

    42nd Street:-

I’m not a big fan of jazz or swing but love rock, I think it’s great that we all like different types of music. But working on building site with everybody listening to different radio stations as loud as possible is excruciating. I won’t listen to radio one though. Just my tuppence. Chippy.

No hint in the caption either:
    Japanese women's band~ It's amazing.

You could try emailing: jerry ming

I suspect it is a Chinese marching tune (may well have been a rip-off of a western tune.)
