    Good luck to England tonight.

    Firstly - I'm a Jock/Porridge-wog/Tartan dress wearing Scotsman.
Secondly - I'd rather poke my eyeballs with rusty needles than watch football as I find it very, Nay! - very, very boring.

However, I do wish England all the best tonight in their world cup match with Croatia.............It's coming home, It's coming home :-)

    Good Luck England!

1st half decent opposition and normal service was restored.

Still there's the 3rd/4th play off against Belgium on Saturday to look forward to now.

    Got to love an optimist.
Having seen 66 I begin to doubt my chances of seeing it again now. After all what are the chances of England getting such an easy path to the final ever again? I still say, had England made the final, they would have won it against France. Sadly, we'll never know now.

Could be the best match of the whole tournament, hopefully with both 'first' teams this time round! lol!!

very young side...i expected a last 16 exit
but like it as already been said..i do not think such a good oppertunity will come again in my lifetime

Agree i do agree it was a shame we will not get to see what could have happened IF England had gotten to the final on Sunday .
England had by far the easiest possible route to the Final its highly doubtful if there will be any chance of getting that to happen ever again
Sweden went down very easily in the end and Croatia should have been much easier but the stamina just was not there even tho' it was such a very young English side
it was too dependent on Kane and Jesse Lingard Still is much too green and Rashford is still learning but struggling for form as we saw with Man U
Pickford is a decent keeper very young but huge potential still 3rd spot should be realistic and at least something to salvage on Saturday : )

The way things are going it would not shock me if Croatia win this World cup

England could not score if they had been there all day, he needs to take off his waist coat, roll up his sleeves and change the system.

I Think England were a difrent team to what they where 20 years ago in the the world cup,
They moved faster and they pasted the ball well.
a young team full of energy.

we were diabolical in the qualifiers but scrapped wins, we got lucky in the world cup qualifiers, sure we had our moments but overall we still suck.

Despite his 6 goals, from the first few matches, I thought Kane overall proved to be very disappointing as in my opinion his contribution - or rather lack of it - left much to be desired in the grand scheme of things!
Thanks goodness we had Trippier to show them ALL how to do it?
Think maybe Danny Welbeck could have posed a much bigger element of surprise up front, especially as even HE doesn't always know what's coming next? lol!
