I'm sure some people still use the Spiderbox 6000 but you'll find a lot of Spiderbox owners moved over to using the HitechBox.

I still use a spider 6000, it comes with MSCAM these days not 1k$, the spider 6k is a much more robust receiver and works much better with 1k$ if you can get a key these days, lots of places have switched away from satellite key sharing in favour of internet streaming which isn't tied to dishes and works anywhere you have wifi.
The Hitech box is brilliant for streaming but a bit flakey on the satellite side.
I've got mine on a monoblock 13/19 E. Check around the post's and look for a forum called vas**** worth becoming a VIP member on that.

I use a stand alone positioner which runs on 36v for my motorised bits and a diseq 4 way switch for 3 separate small fixed dishes, the receiver controls the diseq switch for the first 3 ports and my motor is on port 4 which has to be moved on another remote.
4 separate lnbs on 2 dishes - 13E/16E on one and 39E/26E on other via 4 way diseqc (I'm not in UK)..apart from a recent glitch (now fixed) works well. I don't know about what's openable on others sats but would be interested in what's available at 19E?
39e dont work with mscam but does with1k$, bits on 28e still work with both, some bits on 23e worked the other night but I havn't checked that out yet, 19e was pretty solid with iks but prone to cut outs and freezing with mscam but usually recovers after a while, maybe the match is over by then.
13e on polish channels is sort of ok with both with the occasional interupts, 16e has a bit that works with both fairly good at the mo, 1w has a fair few bits that are still ok but with channel frequency changes giving probs, 30w is good at the mo with both for sport, not many docco's or films though.

Hi Ekon what would you like me to post?? Forums are very secretive places and some info cannot be published in the open etc. Send me a PM with the info you require....Regards..

yes..it was indeed daft of me to write "do post"!
still going strong here
Hi The SB6000 in my opinion one of the best receivers ever made.. Even today with a motor and IPTV capabilities is a fantastic box.....easy to setup and very user friendly....Regards
The 6000 is a bit like the Win XP version of windows, if you cant better it make it obsolete otherwise there's no dosh to be made. CRT tv's used to last 30 years, manufactures used to be proud of the longevity of there products, now they see it as a loss of profitability, 12 months with Chinese crap and your done.
Constant change makes more dosh, if you bought a pair of shoes that were fine one week but didn't wear the next week you wouldn’t buy them any more, peeps these days are suckers !

i still use my Spiderbox HD6000 but as Tony says other ways seem to be more popular less hastle, expense etc.
I bought 2 6000HD's years back until i switch to vu+ but my sister still use the 6000HD although just for the freeview... She has recently lost most of the channels due to TP updates. does any one wish to post a new channel list as the tool on here for generating channel list does not work anymore? Thanks
Got 2 with I*S but one refused to boot up last week so I will have to look at it when I have time.
