HD6000 set up

I'm asking for assistance please???
My old HD9000 which I love has decided not to take my I*S key despite my best efforts. So I have bought a new HD6000 which I am trying to set up. I have downloaded a patch for it and a channel list and put it on a usb which I put in the slot. I start reading the sticky set up guide but my menu is totally different than the guide. I want to load the items in from the usb and add my long/lat for my dish which was so simple on my 9000.

On this new box I press menu and I get;
Installation
sat settings
automatic sat scan
manual scan
sat/tp manager
satellite finder

I don't know how to access the usb or add my location. . .I'm at a loss so please help??? :(

Adding IKS key to HD9000 receiver is really quite a simple process, I have had mine now since 2010 the key has worked first time every year. Have you followed the process correctly, remember first you need to update box with the latest software which you find in the HD9000 section. Most problems seem to a rise when pressing the 1111 on the remote to open another and extra section to add the key. Once key is added you need to register which is just under the letters and numbers in the same section. The sticky instructions in the HD9000 section are excellent also what you use to get on every update with that box what had changed. This is what is missing with the new Hitechbox 9000 you get an update but no information to what is changed. Tombat the HD9000 has one of the best instruction for setting up, sorry cannot help with HD6000 as I never ventured to that box.

on a 6000 press menu and satellite settings

you can tick the sats you want on the left hand side of the screen

press the right arrow to go to the right hand side

drop it down with arrow key to second from bottom , MOTOR and press ok

use bottom arrow to go to MODE and choose GOTOSATELLITE

use bottom arrow key again to go to SET LOCATION and press ok

choose

MANUAL

LONGITUDE is where your longitude goes , like 0021 if it it was 2.1w

next box down choose west or east as required

then put the latitude in as say 054.1

bottom box select North

drop down to save and press OK

exit out

To access the usb stick

system settings
software update
s/w upgrade

go to the file you want and select it

I got this part done so now I guess I load the patch, a channel list and my I*S key and should be good to go will be back in the am with an update . . cheers

Thank you Johnhenry. I have added my key for about 5 years now and always been perfect. I had a new dish and motor fitted last week and for some reason the key wont connect. I'm gutted as I love my 9000 :( I may try a different patch to the one I got from vasiks and see if it works!

Thank you for all your help. I now have a key accepted and a channel list but not had time for a play around due to family needs at time of year.
