I do not know what it contains yet as I have just seen it myself in the http upgrade section of the receiver.
I have just tried this upgrade and the message on the receiver says " Software does not match the machine, and unable to load.

Could be for the new 9900 Model without Satellite

I don't think it's a new model, simply a variation of our present box. At least that's what an internet search tells me. Theree's such a variety of variations now that it can be confusing to identify the right one.
If you do an internet search for 'Hitechbox 9900' there's a link that states:

Or am I getting confused? You put a search on for a 9900 and it gave you the details --from what I can see--of our present 9000.
Yes, it seems you're right and the specs I quoted are for the 9000. It seems like the site has not updated the details. I'll delete the text.
However the link show pictures of a different box and it's definitely the 9900. I can't give the name of the supplier due to forum rules.
Information from the other site states that the 9900 is in fact the 9000 without the satellite capability.

I just installed HitechBox_9000_2.2.92_2017.12.15 on my box. I hadn't upgraded for a while, so the new 'MY TV' and 'IPTV SMART' icons look different on the menu, but everything seems to function as before and only MY TV and VOD Movies work.
The main difference for me is that the MY TV section has the VIP tab and this opens some UK sports channels that aren't working under the main sports tab.
I just installed HitechBox_9000_2.2.95_2017.12.22 on my box. Going by the date, this was just released today.
It seems to work okay, but I can't see any major differences in functionality. Like 2.2.92 this version appears to have no ***** section.
This latest version (2.2.95) has affected my motorised setup, as the latitude/longitude settings no longer correspond to satellite positions., despite many attempts to adjust the former.
One advantage of this software version is an extended movie section available under in the "Network Media Portals" called "Filma24HD.com"
Finally got everything going again.

By the way, 2.2.96 is already available for download.
Just installed it (I still had 2.2.69), and everything seems to work fine.
There might be an issue with the time zone it defaults to. And it reboots when I try to change it... but it is still the same as my UK time, so not too bothered.
And some info from BD:
VIP category in IPTV is working only with latest sw
New sw 2.2.96 has one more WebTV
We also added Ad*lt control in this sw => SYSTEM SETTINGS-Parental control, input password: 1111
