Samsung smart tv keyboard question

Hi everyone,

I have a Samsung Smart tv keyboard that I bought to use with my Samsung smart tv (ES8000). I have tried using it with my Sunvell Android box and what I found was very odd.

The trackpad works fine with Android and I can type numbers, but letters don’t work. When I type letters nothing shows up. I take it if the keyboard weren’t compatible, it would not be working at all. Any ideas?

sorry bad jokes . I did try rasberry pi & a cheap usb keyboard on my samsung ue39f5500 but they didn't work .so whether. each box of tricks needs bespoked keyboards.
