    vucc 0.7 and 0.8 not saving my back up

    sorry didn't no where to post this, I have a vu solo 2 and neva had problems saving back up to my computer but today I keep getting the message , invalid argument to date encode, what do I do and why am I getting this message? last tym I did something to my box was a few days ago I installed open vpn and added some files through ftp that was it.

    What image do you have loaded?
    I'm currently running Open Blackhole, which has the option to carry out it's own full backup, to the HDD.
    If you want to use the VU+ Control Centre try and disable your anti virus, for a short time, that could be stopping you from using the backup option.

    im using vix , ive never had this problem, I don't no why I am getting this message, I also get the message on dcc error socket. I dnt know what I have done. vucc neva had a problem before with my antivirus on before so I dnt know why it should be a problem now.

    Anti Virus software updates regularly, without your knowledge, to fight new computer viruses, as does Windows, and changes your permissions.
    Chek your PC first, then your receiver, to see if Vix has updated anything.
    It's a matter of trying to find out why it's not working, by checking each possible reason.

    also check you have the correct ip for your box

    okay if I turn off my firewall and antivirus I can access dcc, but not the vucc, im using Norton trying to figure it out
