Hi Assuming that your internet is ok then problem may be the format is incorrect for your box. I use IPTV files on two different boxes and formats need to be different from each other otherwise they dont work. Hope this helps you.
Regards
Thanks I will let u know shortly
Does the m3u file need naming anything specific? " openbox requires the file to be called WebTV". Has anyone got a guide? If they have ,is it the same for stalker portals as it would explain the missing vod when I tried earlier???
just put in iptv player using usb in fat
port06 (26-08-2017)
the files I used are m3u
port06 (26-08-2017)
Thnx will let u know asap
I tested mine in vlc player first
Hi problem is that files may work in VLC but not in the Stb if format for Stb is incorrect. Also you need to check that the file ends with a .ts or .m3u8 etc For example the VLC format is like this usually:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF: First Channel name etc
http: web url of channel
#EXTINF: Second Channel name etc
http: website url
For Spiderbox file details are like this
#EXTM3U
Channel name,http:url of website.ts/m3u8 or whatever
Channel name,http: url of website.ts/m3u8 or whatever
If you try and play a Spiderbox type file using VLC it will not work and vice versa. For filenames i use followng :
Spiderbox i call my files as Spiderddmm.ipt ddmm is day/month ie 1408
VLC and other STB i call my files as Goodmmdd.ipt
Regards
hi karabanga the post is about hitech not spiderbox
Hi I know its a post for Hitechbox but you are enquiring about M3U files which are used in most receivers as far as i am aware. I suspect your Hitech will use the format as the VLC player ie two lines per channels and call the file something like Goodmmdd.ipt and see if it works. Regards
