    The 6000 smartcard slot?

    Don`t have a 6000 now but a friend is trying to get an official card activated.
    Can`t remember if the chip goes up or down in the slot??

    just checked a freesat card in mine and its chip up , says N D S when inserted correctly

    comes up NOT INSERTED with chip down
