The article says, "a turnover of some £371,000" but that is not all profit.

Probably why the sentence looks so lenient.

    1) NO Such Thing as a KODI Box
    2) If that guy had a decent lawyer this case would never went forward due to False and incorrect invalid information
    3) Kodi (Formerly known as XBMC) is a free, open source, software media center which is 100% LEGAL to Use .
    4) It is 3rd Party Addons which is deemed illegal by TV Broadcasters [ in particular Master Murdock ] and now UK/US LAW

But 3rd Party addons would most likely never have even existed if it was not for the pure ignorant greed of said TV Broadcasters
very similar to music and even the movie industry which has pretty much collapsed due to ignorance and greed
forcing various ISP's to block Music and Movie internet sites .
£371K is quite a nice profit however and i'm sure the sentence is laughable and does zero to deter anyone from taking a similar risk since its obviously such fast cash for little to no consequence .

Nice 20k bung to the council, and 180 hours picking up litter.

350k left in the bank for beers

As I stated in post 3, the £371k was turnover and NOT profit. Still 10% of that would buy a few beers even in London.
