    problen with satellite signal

    i have had my box for well over a year but used vu duo for satellite.
    i cannot get a signal on hitech box . using same lead on vu duo and connected to lnb in but get nothing
    anyone else had same problem?

    A complete lack of signals would indicated that some setting is not activated. Some suggestions:

    With antenna lead-in connected, restart the Box. If no reaction, go to LNB settings and make sure it is showing "Universal". If your antenna isn't
    motorised, make sure Motor Settings are disabled. Check under "Network" that your IP settings show "Wire Network LAN" or "WiFi Network", as
    appropriate. In the same section make sure your "IP Address" settings are configured to DHCP.

    still no luck did all the above , driving me nuts thanks anyway

    Have you tried connecting your other box via the loop out? That would at least give an indication of whether the problem is with the socket.
