messed up Kodi and box with Wookie. need help!!!!!

    hi guys.
i need a little help, i foolishly downloaded Wookie Lite, Kyron on top of kodi 16.1 Jarvis.
Now i cant get the Wookie off, i have only limited control of the kodi system.
i can not factory restore Kodi or wookie or any other addons.
The only solution i can see is to remove Kodi from the box and load a new version of Kodi 16.1 Jarvis.
i have carried out a factory restore on the VU+ Solo 4k box but kodi and Wookie are still there.

Can anyone please give me some direction on how i can resolve this issue.

    Thanks, Red5eddie.

    Hi Murgy.
do you mean tools in Kodi or Wookie?
I have tools menus in these apps but only limited control of the system and i have zero control in all tools sections.

at the moment i am in the middle of a factory reset and re-load and if that doesn't do it i will try the 2 suggestions from DCG and Satcat.

My advice to anyone who does't like the Wookie front-end is when you install Wookie and it tells you to power off the box to continue - Don't.
Just press the OK button on remote and exit out of Kodi. Then launch Kodi again and you'll still have the default Kodi Skin and menu how you like it.

All the wookie apps will be installed but your front-end won't get modified. This is how I do it as I'm not a fan of the front-end either.
    found this from this site
