NEW 2weeks old mutant HD51 OPEN VIX software fault,help needed
DECIDED TO go for mutant HD51 4K.spent a few days setting up box,loaded oscam ,test line etc,and worked fine for a day,4k picture WOW,woke up 3am to find box flashing...:::::: ::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::: etc switched on tv to find open vix picture then black computer code screen with lines of info,something about software fault something TWISTED please upload to vix team,dont know how to,had to switch box off at wall to stop it,still unpluged untill i have some help.......
UPDATE have switched box back on channels back on tried a few things in the menue in vix section i am getting this is just one example in image manager.....there is a problem with this device,please reformat and try again,in oscam clients getting error(errno111) connection refused,but test line still opening channels ? oscam logs etc same con refused...skin vix-night-hd(1280 x 720) v1.07-r19 last update 2017-01-25 image 4.2.028(release)
4K receivers are fairly new, and images, especially unofficial images, might be unstable.
I would check if there are any updates, for the image.
You can use Filezilla, or other FTP program, to find the crash logs.
update.....what ive done...updated software...fault with oscam still there....so factory default......tuner config....scanned sats....used the forums concierge program.....cc to osc....uploaded to box.......and so far working again....joe
Have you also checked for any software updates, via the menu, blackhole does this quite often?
yes did openvix update then factory reset...then the above..channels ok but oscam connection info not working and showing connection refused........
Which version of Oscam are you using?
I know of a few for the Solo 4K, but don't know anything about your receiver, or openvix.
Do you download Oscam from the Vix menu options?
should read google you have to use a special 4k oscam for them boxes. google streamboard oscam

when i did the latest update and factory reset two new latest oscam versions were installed for me...oscam latest and oscam-pcsc-latest....have selected oscam latest and is doing its job........do not know if i should be using.....oscam-pcsc-latest or what it does...???...joe...any ideas
im thinking about getting this to replace my old XTREND 9200 - i have a VUO DUO2 also, not been that impressed with it so far.
whats the Mutant like?
very good, 4k picture on various sats spot on happy with it...
