iks fails to open french channels

There seems little support for french channels. Today none of the canal + channels open or chasse and peche or seasons. Ok i can understand that most folks want certain packages,but the french channels have for many of my friends been very poor for a long time. Any chance that they can be better supported.

They come and go a bit although I am not using IKS.

Some do open, Foot+HD, Equidia live and Equidia Life and Golf+ do open, for me anyway.

Hi..The reason French channels dont open is because, i believe, that TNTSat provider use a paired receiver system and therefore not available via CS like before. You can get French channels opening on Hotbird at 13 east. The bad news is that rumuor has it that more channels will be gone in the New Year. My advice is dont spend too much money at the moment until we know what lies ahead. Regards

try 11.480H 11509H on 5w some French channels there could be more on that sat try a blind scan but at least they are fta mpeg4 also strong signal here in the uk

They seem to use PLS Gold+50416 now - are there many receivers that can read that?

I'm not completely opposed to buying a viewing card to decrypt the Fransat or TNT-Sat but some reports suggest they no longer work with CI-CAMs so I'd have to buy a whole new receiver for whichever network too which just seems wasteful and clunky.
