see if you can FTP to the box, if yes then go to the python / plugin folder and elite the app/plugin you was installing
or you can try and reflash the box with the image again

FTP is File Transfer Protocol, it just a means of accessing your receiver, using your PC, and a FTP tool, like FileZilla.

You might also try the Drambox Control Centre:
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...DCC)-E1-amp-E2

This should find your receivers IP Address, if it's still recognized, as being part of your network.

How did you flash your image, originally?

Just located a How to guide, on the internet, you use a USB stick, and is similar to installing an image on the VU+ receivers.

For encrypted channels you need to load a Cam, either CCcam, Oscam, or other.
With Vix I think you can download, and install them, via the menu options.

You need to load the files, for Oscam, but there's a useful tool, uploaded by hda5, that helps a lot, as does echelon's guide files.
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...rver&highlight=
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...files-and-help

You also need to connect to your receiver, using a FTP program, like Filezilla, which is free.
All you need to connect is your receivers IP address, which you should find in the menu, under Network, or use the DCC, Dreambox Control Centre:
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...f-DCC-E2-v1-50

Please post back with more questions, as it's not easy, when you first start using an Enigma 2 receiver, but it has become easier.

most of the advice in the VU forums and ZGEMMA should apply to this E2 box , especially the openvix and oscam and cccam advice

same goes for some of the advice in the dreambox forums as well , like the dreambox newbies threads , plus look in the oscam forum , cccam forum and mgcamd forum as well , plus the E2 settings forum for channel lists - so plenty of forums here can be used for the advice given to other box users

try installing cccam and getting that working , then mgcamd , and finally oscam ( the latter needs more thinking time )

it seems to use an external usb HDD as well , similar to the zgemmas

for oscam you need to enter your line details in the oscam page.if you have installed correct oscam(oscam mips) & it`s running open a web browser & type your box ip address followed by :8888 in address bar & it will open oscam page, you enter your details there. You click on readers then go down that page & look for cc******erver @ the side of this is a pencil like icon click this & enter your details here.
