Have you tried the erase image file first ?
From memory you had to run it a few times to get a new image on when you had image flashing problems.

Are you using a PC with a proper comm port or via a USB adapter ?

Yep, went out and bought a pci card.
Try some older versions of dreamup if you can find them, other than that pin check your null modem cable.
That fact you get a connection makes me think it will work.

Hi there,
Sorry you had such problems with the dear old 7000 - I had different problems this week when I tried to run my Solo 4K box with an old Samsung TV out in our house in France - no picture possible due to the Hd level. So - dug out the old box - out of use for 5 years and it took time, but loaded up on an old Gemini prog; did a sat.channels run and the whole box flooded back to life. All works including recording and playback from recordings I never knew I did still work on the box - and I dont mean THOSE!! LOL
Hope the new 7020 is a success - although I am a dream box lover, and have both 8000HD and 7020Hd, I am very impressed with my solo 4k which I got from our site here, and after good help from Lee - and IPTV is a dream on that. Cheers to all - Brain
