Getting Channel 5 and Film 4+1 on INTELSAT 907

Hi, I am on the Costa Del Sol. I have a Technomate 5402 which a friend has 'patched' and set-up for me. However I cannot access Channel 5 or Film 4+1. I have entered 8280 on both channels and all the codes appear full?
When I looked on-line for the codes I get the following:-
    CHANNEL 5HD 17728 6401HD 6402 6400 6401
    CHANNEL FILM 4+1 20352 7501 7502 7500
The codes on the box don't look anything like this, can anyone help please?

All credits to the creators of the bbc_pmt_v6 script!

    Oscam:
the standard oscam can be used that gets installed when using the wizard, no need for ymod.
But, some changes of oscam config settings are required that can be done via its web interface (port 8081):
Config/DVB-Api , PMT-mode: set to option 0. Needed to establish the type of socket communication the script is capable of.

Into folder '/etc/enigma2' goes an edited 'lamedb' file.
Get the current one per ftp,
add the data given in the 'lamedb' file given here,
    prevent double entries,
issue 'init 4' which halts enigma2
upload the new lamedb with ftp,
issue 'init 3' to restart enigma2.
    (each service entry consists of three lines with the middle one being the service name;
prevent typos as this will upset enigma2)

Make a key file 'constant.cw' and add it into the '/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam' folder.
An example is given here. Update its contents would the key be changed.

Add a section for this reader to 'oscam.server'; see example.

add to 'oscam.dvbapi' the A: lines as described in this thread

add into 'oscam.services' the oscam.services given here.

    bbc_pmt_v6 script:
place it in /usr/bin directory and make it executable (chmod 755).
    line 130, change into
    s.connect_ex(("/var/volatile/tmp/camd.socket"))
    See example.

The pre-start script I am not using. Rather have re-written the bbc_pmt_starter.sh script as a /etc/init.d script that gets started upon boot.
Place the bbc_pmt_starter.sh in /etc/init.d and do a 'chmod 755' so that is gets executable.

    In /etc/rc3.d , rc4.d , and rc5.d add a symbolic link like this
    ln -s ../init.d/bbc_pmt_starter.sh S60bbc_pmt_starter.sh

Issue '/etc/init.d/bbc_pmt_starter.sh start' to put the Python script in action. That will poll for channel changes and issue code requests to oscam.

Give that mouthfull a try...lol...Files needed attached..hope you sort it...i had this lying on my desktop as i was thinking of doing it also.

This is not a linux enigma2 receiver! all you have to do is install the latest patch, channel scan and install key https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...g-Intelsat-907 read thewhole thread, Job done.

Hi Do you get a strong enough signal for Channel 4 etc. What about the BBC channels. The codes you mentioned from online dont make sense really. All you need to do is go onto a channel like Channel 4 or BBC and press 8280 or use menu to get into BISS/CAS menu. In BISS menu make sure you have channel name in left hand corner and enter the code- if it requires 32 characters then enter code twice on same line. Then exit and save YES when prompted. All the UK channels should then open so long as signal quality is good. Nb you can use any line in BISS menu to enter the code so long as that line is not used by different channel. Reason you get so many lines in BISS menu is because years ago there were many channels opening with BISS and CCW/DCW codes and each channel needed its own line for the codes to be entered. Regards
