Activation Failed

Hi.

Just got my HitechBox HD9000 from the sponsor. So tiny, so nice, so powerful.

I have followed the setup guide.
I have installed the new firmware (2.1.53 through USB).
I have loaded the channel list, and set up USALS. Normal channels work.

I am using powerline/ethernet cable (which worked fine with my previous Spiderbox HD6000 and IKS, and then MsCamd).

When trying to activate MSCAMD with the unique code, I get

Send active code to mscamd server

MsCamd Activation Failed

Please, help.

When I boot up the box, I get a message about USB Detected, and a "Network Connection Success" message.
YouTube is working, so I have connection to the Internet.

If I Ping Test the Network I get OK 20 out of 20 Times.

But if I try the Ping Test in the MSCAMD activation I get 0 OK out of 10 Times.

Is mscamd down by any chance?

Is there a problem with my box/setup?

Why am I getting MsCamd Activation Failed?

Any ideas/solutions, please?

Hello again.
Some good news.
I decided to upgrade the firmware online through HTTP Upgrade.
There were 2 options 2.1.53 Sh-something and 2.1.58 mscamd,
I chose the mscamd one.
After one failed attempt... mscamd got activated!!!!!
It looks as if it it is descrambling ("Expire after 364 days")
Although the channel I am watching now seems to have sound ok but picture freezing frequently.
I need to try other channels... and IPTV and VOD and... so many things... really excited.

A couple of things to try, first make sure you are entering the correct digits, the other option is to try to activate the code without using the powerline, take the Spiderbox to the Router if needed and connect direct with cable. (I have read what you said in your post) but elimination is needed. MsCam is working ATM for me in the UK.
