    Triax supplier?

    Hi

My old Lenson Heath has a broken arm…. I need to start again and I was thinking of a Triax 1.1M - I want the 4 lnb option. For marital reasons I need the dark grey! Our sponsors don't seem to do dishes (though I'll be getting new HD box too when I get a new dish), so am I allowed to get opinions for dish suppliers? I'm in NI, so there will be carriage.

    TIA,

    Bob

Have you tried g o o g l e, and input Triax Dishs Northern Ireland, and see what you come up with, you will have to ask the supplier if they do the 2 lnb option that you require.

    Hi Aldo

Thanks for the reply, I've done a bit of local Googling, but I suspect they'll just order one and add on their mark up, so its probably better to find a GB seller. I can get the Triax 4 way LND holder ok online. The supplier I tried to order from only had the pale grey!

A can of dark grey spray paint may be the answer. Sprayed mine green to match adjacent trees and it doesn't appear to affect signal quality.

Plus the fact that the UK vendor will charge for transportation to NI on top of the cost of the dish itself.

As long as Matt Paint is used, there should not be a problem. Gloss Paint will reflect the heat back on to the Lnb, and will shorten the life of it.
