Changes to Catseye E2 Settings -opinions please

    Guys

At present their are many packages (Hardware & box paired)

Is it worth keeping these in the 'favourites' section?

The channels will still be accessible via satellites if need be

If the situation changes (solution found etc) they can easily be reinstated

    Whats your opinions ?

What packages should be removed from favourites ?

I second @HardDriver if it ain't broke don't fix it unless you will have two separate compilations...one with all the channels and one without hardware paired channels. thanks by the way for all your hardwork.

I am happy with whatever is the easiest for you to do as I really do appreciate what you have done over these past years as it has made things much easier for me.

I do not tend to use the favourites much but find your lists are often better than when I manually scan my satellites.

Thanks for all your work, past present and the future :respect-039:

Whatever is easier for you, but yes it would make things easier for those that don't know what's supposed to work and what isn't.

Strip them out, as there is little point in having them in to clutter everything up. As you state, they can easily be reintroduced should things ever change once hell freezes over.

I really wish more Image Teams would have these in their feeds as these are the best around that are not Italian. :respect-014::respect-060:

agree with nikkas Strip them out, as there is little point in having them in to clutter everything up a lot on hot bird has gone a lot on 16 e has gone etc like u say there will be in the satellite listings so if there come back there are still in the satellite list :respect-010::respect-010:

Not 100% decided yet but may remove some of the paired 16 East packages from the favourites

The next files released will have the following packages removed from the favourites

Sly Italia SD & HD 13 east
Sly UK HD (HW paired) 28.2 east
    Nova 13 east
Canal Sat France HD 19.2 East
OTE SD & HD 9 East
    Digiturk 7 East
    Digi TV 1 West (Slovak)
    BeIN 25.5 east
    BeIN 7 West
OSN SD & HD 7 West
    OSN 8 West
    D Smart 42 East
    Digiturk 42 East

If there any more H/W packages ive missed post away
Same goes for any of the above mentioned packages that have been removed incorrectly

Just to add these channels/packages will still be in the main sat lists but will no longer be listed under favourites

I am also considering removing the 26 East 7 West/8 West packages from the favourites

Let me know what you all think

Please leave as a named Satellite 26 East and 8 West MBC Channels are Still on 26E FTA and 8 West is my Reference Satellite Still a lot of FTA stuff on Both Satellites : )
Also you can include and keep 12.5W and 15W and very important 20°W/22W And 24.5W .
But all the mentioned H/W Paired Favourites can be Deleted its highly unlikely that anyone will ever open any of those in the near future as its been years since any of those packages opened .
10E/9E And 7 East all have plenty of Feeds and FTA so they are important satellites to keep .
    cheers !
