Yes, thanks Russell1 - can't wait for 970 postcode file to try, especially when the previous 965 version failed to work - well not in mine AND many others' experiences!

Got it used Albe**s Act**ator and now working great I do not know what the problem was but when I knew that the Me**a file was ok it had to be something silly.

Thanks Russell1 for the update of this map its appreciated by many members. I tried to download part one of the map but the link said that the file does not exist on this server but I was able to use the second link to download part two. Is there another link available for part one? Thanks again

No - they have been slow with some of the map & postcode releases, but all new maps etc are still working fine

I think you need to look on the TomTom Go mobile android app and go from there,

and easy to get any of the maps and all the updates and traffic reports

Yes thanks Russell1, but is that the TomTom GO - or old faithfull 'android' 970 version mate, as my 'GO' has automatically updated anyway in usual way?

PS: Ok mate, I realise we are discussing 'GO' here, so can only assume the previous UK & ROI android version of TomTom can no longer be installed or work any more?

I dont know, but after using the new Go app I would never go back to the old version. There are still links available for the earlier Android v1.4 with v970 maps, so I would think they still work.
