The first thing to note is that the manual doesn't answer the sort of questions asked in this forum.
It is only useful if you are using the original (as delivered) open-ATV image.
It is not very techy; such things as file locations are not included and that the open-ATV image does not follow the usual Dreambox/Enigma2 locations.
I'm hoping other users will add useful info in this thread (or the help thread) such as the best scanning method is "manual", "automatic" often fails to save an apparently good set of scans.
Generally, filenames follow the Dreambox style. ie. lamedb houses the scanned channels; satellite.xml houses the transponder list for each sat which means some or all of Catseye's files can replace the existing ones.
