Try a different USB Stick, have you unzipped/uncompressed the file to USB stick before trying to load into HB9000?
    If so :

No worry even if you corrupt your box...is always a Recovery trick...
Just Rename the Patch Software force_upgrade_rom and press is your remote control many time OKOKOKOKOK until you see your box start get the software back. (thanks to hosemaria)
Thanks for all your help. Worked a treat. New flash drive, force_rom_upgrade and my box is back to life.

i am hoping someone can help me please, my new Hitechbox HB9000 has suddenly come up with a blue screen after installing patch file, "Download from usb, SW is Damage, pls upgrade new!" Is there anyway of fixing this. i have the backup, database and key data files saved to usb but it will not load it just displays this the message "Open File Fail!". Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi M8, instead of spamming the forum, maybe you should READ, and, follow, the info already posted in #Posts 2 & 3.
The info posted is telling you what you have to do to fix your box.

they were all moved into a new thread of your very own, this thread is your thread now, the other will be locked to stop you posting in it

the info telling you how to repair your box has been posted in both threads now

here is the original thread you spammed

    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...ew-Hitech-9000

the repair procedure is as follows, using a new USB stick

Just Rename the Patch Software force_upgrade_rom and press is your remote control many time OKOKOKOKOK until you see your box start get the software back.

Did you follow the guide, when loading your patch?
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...techBox-HB9000

The latest patch is on the forum:
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/forumdisp...p?796-Firmware

You could try loading an earlier version, with a different USB stick.

If that fails, then hosemaria has posted a method of getting it to work, by re-naming the downloaded firmware, after it's been unzipped, on your PC, from HitechBox_2.1.21_2016.03.18.bin to force_upgrade_rom.
Load this file, onto your USB stick, and load it onto your receiver, the same way you loaded the patch, by repeatedly pressing the OK button, on your remote.
    Have you tried this?

    Hi
I'm sorry but we are struggling to communicate here. Try asking your supplier if they can help you in case its faulty.
