Think its newer models of Samsung phones not accepting android version of TT as both my s6 Edge + and my friend's Galaxy S5 Neo it states 'not working' or 'unable to connect' despite GPS being set as 'on' etc etc!!
However I tried it on old S3 Mini and it works perfectly!!

Always used google maps in the past but willing to give this a try, thank you for sharing
