If you mean Bit Error Rate then yes the closer to Zero or even Zero is the optimal setting

Coaxial cable is any cable that has an inner wire shielded with an outer conductive sheath by a dielectric (non-conductive) material. However here is 5 simple steps that everyone have to follow for installing new coax cable.
1- Trim the outer cover (usually black rubber) back 1/2".
2- Carefully pull back the inner braiding (second channel) outside the outer cover.
3- Trim back the (usually white, but may be clear) dielectric plastic from the inner core cable.
4- Push the connector down over the cable end so that the copper core of the coaxial cable sticks out.
5- Screw the connector into the end of the cable.

I have wf100 on my motorized but it's less flexible than rg6 also depends on the length you are using.

Also have a sky mini dish which has been up 20 years.

Took the cables out from sky put on my vu box no difference in signal after been up 20 years

Also have a feed from sky dish for freesat works graet
