No sound on files that have been FTP'ed across.

Hi,

Occasionally I FTP a film across from my PC to the Vu Duo box so I can watch it on the TV. More often than not I have no sound when I play it, if I then go into the audio setting and play around with them the sound kicks in. Does anyone know what's causing the issue and what the long term fix is ?

What sort of files are they ?

Do you get the same problem if you just play the file across your network straight on to your box ?

The last couple have been MP4.

Sorry, never tried playing the file across the network..........how would I do that ?

mp4 should be fine, I have loads.

Just use your network browser to mount the HDD of your pc or you could use DNLA

The audio may be in dts format.
