Hi Guys - For my own benefit, have rewritten my instructions for installing the new Genesis .
Thought it would help other users so have copied it here -
1. How to Install New Genesis Video Add-On for Kodi.
Although not Essential it is advisable to De-Install the old Genesis prior to installing the new one.
To De-Install the Old Genesis
Launch Kodi
Select ‘System’
Select ‘Add Ons’
Select ‘Enabled Add ons’
Select ‘Video Add ons’
Select ‘Genesis’
Select ‘UnInstall’
Select ‘Yes’
Genesis should now have been removed
To Install the New Genesis
Launch Kodi
Select System -> File Manager
Select Add Source
Click on <None>
Enter the URL which is
Code:
http://filmkodi.com/repository/
Click on Done
Delete anything in the bottom window, Then Enter any name, in this example I’ve called it FilmKodi
Click ‘ Done’
Click OK
Go back to the Kodi Home Page
Click System
Select Add-ons
Select Install from zip file
Select FilmKodi
Select repository.filmkodi.com.zip
Wait until you see the box appear at the bottom right with “filmkodi Repo Add-on enabled”
Select ‘Install from Repository’ (or ‘Get Add ons if using an Android system)
Select Kodi Filmkodi.com repository
Select Video Add-ons
Select Specto-Genesis Fork
Select Install
Wait until you see the box appear at the bottom right of the screen displaying “Specto Genesis Fork Add-on enabled” (This can take some time as it has to be downloaded first)
When completed Specto-Genesis Fork on the Left Screen is listed as ‘Enabled’
Go back to the Kodi Home Page
Click on Videos
Select Video Add-ons
Select Specto Genesis Fork
Screen should confirm the new Genesis Update log.
Select white cross at top of screen
Thats it You now should have the new Genesis selection panel on screen
Operation now as normal Genesis screens
