Icon2 Motor settings on the Spiderbox 9000HD

I would like to change the way my dish is moved. Here is my question:
Receiver 1 moves my dish through diseq 1.2 with a Technomate VII motor. I am going to sale this receiver!
I now would like to move the dish the same way but through the Spiderbox 9000HD.
Do I set the motor settings on receiver 1 to nothing and the Spiderbox to diseq 1.2?
I don't think that it will be that simple!
    Any help greatly appreciated.

if this motor has usals and diseqc capabilities then the easiest method to replace a box is simply to set the new box to usals , add your gps position and away you go, usals makes it that easy

otherwise, if you replace an old receiver with the spiderbox, you need to set the spiderbox up the same way, so that would be using the setting for diseqc v1.2, but you may have to find and save each sat position again, because using diseqc v1.2 means you have to do all the work yourself in locating and saving each sat position, which is why USALS was developed, to make it easier to swap boxes

I havent used diseqc for years, because I use a darkmotor with usals, a lot simpler and easy swap outs
