    well it finally died

well my cryptik mount finally gave up yesterday,so ordered a darkmotor from goldwafers, must of had that mount at least 13 years or more so can not complain,it has served me well, hope the darkmotor lasts as long.

I had a Jaeger H-H which lasted me 15 years. On my second one now. Only disadvantage is having a separate positioner.

fitted new motor, easy enough to do,only taken a hour to get it all sorted, because my sat pole is low and mount is opposite way round was worried that bottom of dish would hit the floor when it moves to its furthest sats east to west, but just misses floor i would say by an inch lol,no thor at 0.8 west, but thats because chimney blocks that sat,but everything else is spot on.
